Alan worked with Bank of Valletta plc from 1979 to 2000 where after spending 10 years in branch banking, where he specialized in International Trade Finance for 8 years he then joined the Internal Audit Department in 1990. He then specialized in IT Auditing and became Head of the IT Audit dept in 1995. After having been heavily involved in the Y2K project he left the bank and joined Deloitte & Touche to set up their Enterprise Risk Services department. After nearly 7 years at Deloitte. Alan, together with Trevor, decided to set up their own specialized company where they could continue to develop ICT and other risk management related services. Alan has carried out major ground breaking projects, such as: the first Information Security Strategy ever drawn up for the Government of Malta; the first ISO 17799 (ISO27001) audit; and, the first remote gaming certification review. Alan is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional, and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (ACIB). Alan is currently the President of the ISACA Malta chapter and the Secretary of the Malta Remote Gaming Council. Alan is married with three children.

Trevor graduated in Information Technology in 1999 after which he joined an e-commerce company and was responsible for its IT infrastructure. In 2001 he joined Deloitte & Touche where he was responsible for carrying out complex IT audit for high profile clients as well as numerous consultancy projects. During this time Trevor was able to add value not only to his department but also the IT consultancy, IT support and IT training departments. In 2006, Trevor and Alan formed Kyte Consultants Ltd and from then on have managed to establish a solid client base and establish themselves as leaders on the island in IT risk management services. Trevor holds a BSc (Hons) in IT, is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), a System Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), a Qualified Security Assessor (for PCI DSS) and a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP).
